Overview
My journey with BDO Jersey began towards the end of 2017, where I was the lead developer in building their multi-tenancy LMS, which I developed using IOMAD. The initial offering of the LMS was to provide Anti-money Laundering and GDPR compliance training for their clientele and market. In our first-year post-development, I provided administration and technical support, as well as continuous development through further customisations and improvements.
In March 2019, I was offered an opportunity to have a more pivotal role in the organisation’s Learning & Development offering. Added to my responsibilities were learning design, digital learning strategy and consulting, and training. During this period I worked with BDO London to develop the Risk and Advisory Services eLearning module, which was rolled out mid-2020 to the BDO global network which operates in 164 countries. I also designed the Cyber Security eLearning module and developed customised moodle iOS and Android apps to promote a mobile-first approach.
